Arsenal FPL assets: starters, prices, ownership

Top FPL picks at ARS

Gabriel is the standout Arsenal asset right now. At £7.2m, he has produced 191 points, the highest total among Arsenal players listed here, with 4.5 form and a huge 44.9% ownership. The appeal is obvious, he combines clean sheet potential with major set piece threat, and his 2525 minutes suggest he has been trusted heavily when available. If you want one Arsenal defender, Gabriel is still the priority.

David Raya is the safest route into the Arsenal defence for managers who prefer security of starts. The goalkeeper costs £6.1m, has 147 points, 4.5 form, and has played 3150 minutes, comfortably the best minutes total among their key assets. His 35.3% selection shows just how popular he is. He lacks Gabriel’s goal threat, but for nailed minutes and reliable clean sheet access, Raya is elite.

Bukayo Saka is still Arsenal’s premier attacking pick despite a relatively modest points total by his standards. He is priced at £9.9m, with 145 points from only 2049 minutes, which hints at strong output per start. The interesting part is ownership, just 9.8%. For a player of Saka’s quality, that makes him a genuine rank gain option if Arsenal’s attack hits form.

Declan Rice deserves serious respect as a fantasy pick this season. At £7.2m, he has delivered 176 points in 2913 minutes with 24.0% ownership. He is not the classic explosive midfielder, but his total is too strong to ignore. He looks more like a steady accumulator than a must-buy, but in draft formats or as a safe replacement, he is absolutely viable.

Viktor Gyökeres is the high-upside forward in the Arsenal squad. He costs £8.9m, has 124 points, and his 5.8 form is the best of any Arsenal player in this list. With just 14.4% ownership, he has the profile of a dangerous differential. If you are chasing upside rather than safety, he belongs near the top of the shortlist.

Mid-tier and budget options

Jurrien Timber looks like one of the best value picks in the squad. At £6.0m, he has managed 149 points in 2452 minutes, which is excellent for a defender. The concern is his current 0.0 form, which suggests a recent absence or quiet spell, but if he is starting regularly he is underpriced relative to output.

William Saliba is the more conservative version of Gabriel. He costs £6.2m, has 124 points, 4.2 form, and 2434 minutes. He is a fine pick, but Gabriel’s superior total and similar price point make Saliba slightly less appealing unless you are doubling on Arsenal defence.

Martín Zubimendi is the budget midfielder to note. At just £5.0m, he has returned 129 points in 2861 minutes. That is excellent value for an enabler, even if the 3.0 form and deeper role limit explosive potential. For managers needing a fifth midfielder who actually plays, he is one of the better cheap options.

Riccardo Calafiori at £5.6m and Piero Hincapie at £5.1m are also worth monitoring. Calafiori has 99 points in 1536 minutes, while Hincapie has 84 points in 1679 minutes. Both can work as squad fillers, but neither has the combination of minutes security and proven output that Gabriel, Raya, or Saliba offer.

Avoid / fade

Leandro Trossard is the clearest fade. He has only 108 points in 1817 minutes, his 2.2 form is poor, and his 0.8% ownership reflects the lack of trust. He can produce in short bursts, but for FPL his minutes are rarely secure enough.

Eze is also difficult to back confidently in this Arsenal context. At £7.3m, 106 points, and 1732 minutes, the output is not disastrous, but it is not strong enough for the price when compared with Saka, Rice, or even cheaper alternatives elsewhere. His 8.8% ownership feels optimistic.

Calafiori and Hincapie also carry rotation risk if Arsenal’s defensive unit is fully fit. They are usable in deeper squads, but not players to rely on weekly.

Captaincy potential

Saka is still the best Arsenal captaincy option. The combination of talisman status, strong per-minute output, and low ownership makes him the standout armband candidate when fixtures are right.

Gyökeres is the next name to consider, especially with his excellent 5.8 form. He looks more explosive than Rice and has a forward profile that suits captaincy better.

Gabriel and Raya are not primary captaincy picks, but in favourable home fixtures they can be part of aggressive differential strategies built around clean sheet confidence.

Overall, Gabriel, Raya, Saka, and Gyökeres are the Arsenal names to build around. Rice and Zubimendi offer stability and value. Trossard and the more rotation-prone defenders are best left alone unless team news is unusually strong.
