Top FPL picks at BOU
Marcos Senesi is still the standout Bournemouth asset. At £5.2m, he delivered 161 points, with 6.0 form, 21.2% ownership, and 3018 minutes. That blend of security, points and ownership makes him the safest route into this defence. He is not cheap enough to be a hidden gem anymore, but he remains the closest thing Bournemouth have to a set and forget FPL option.
Adrien Truffert looks like the value play from the back line. He posted 146 points at just £4.7m, matching Senesi on 6.0 form while playing 3108 minutes. With only 4.6% selected, he offers a much lower owned entry point into a defence that clearly produced usable FPL returns. If you want Bournemouth coverage without paying top dollar, Truffert is arguably the best pick in the squad.
In midfield, Alex Scott stands out most. He reached 128 points for £5.1m, with 5.0 form, 2.3% ownership and 2668 minutes. Those are strong numbers in the budget midfielder bracket, especially compared with teammates around his price. He looks like the best Bournemouth midfielder for managers chasing a fifth-midfield slot with real upside.
Up front, Evanilson is the main name to consider. At £6.7m, his 110 points are not explosive, but 2539 minutes suggest solid involvement and his 4.0 form keeps him in the conversation. He is more of a fixture-dependent third forward than a core pick, but he has enough stability to be useful.
Mid-tier and budget options
Marcus Tavernier is a reasonable mid-price differential. He scored 123 points at £5.4m, with 5.0% ownership and 2475 minutes. The concern is his recent 3.5 form, which is fine rather than convincing. He is viable if you trust Bournemouth’s attack, but Scott looks the cleaner value at a similar level.
Kroupi.Jr is one of the more interesting budget enablers in the squad. For just £4.6m, he has 101 points despite only 1438 minutes, plus 5.5 form and 6.2% ownership. Those are eye-catching per-minute returns. The obvious risk is role and minutes, but if he keeps getting enough time, he can seriously outperform his price.
In defence, Hill deserves a mention. He has 100 points for only £4.2m, with 4.5 form and 7.6% selected. The issue is that he got there in just 1832 minutes, so you are buying output without full certainty of starts. As a bench defender he is attractive, as a weekly starter he is much shakier.
Petrović is fine if you want a cheap keeper. At £4.6m, he has 112 points from 3150 minutes, but the recent 2.5 form limits enthusiasm. He is playable, not exciting.
Avoid / fade
A.Jimenez is hard to recommend. His 74 points from 2315 minutes at £4.5m are underwhelming, and the 2.5 form offers little encouragement. He does not beat the cheaper or more productive Bournemouth defenders.
In midfield, Adams, Adli and Brooks all look like easy fades. Adams has just 69 points at £4.9m. Adli has 65 points at £5.4m with a dreadful 0.5 form. Brooks sits on 57 points at £5.0m. None of them have the output, form or security to justify a slot when Scott and Tavernier are available.
Captaincy potential
There is no true captaincy option at Bournemouth. Senesi is the safest high-floor play if you think clean sheets are coming, while Evanilson is the most plausible attacking armband in a very soft fixture. Realistically, Bournemouth assets are better used as squad picks and differentials than as captaincy candidates.
