Top assist providers in FPL 2025-26

Top of the list

1. Bruno Fernandes is the clear benchmark. The Manchester United midfielder posted 21 assists, comfortably top of this group, and backed it up with 209 points, 37 bonus and 2795 minutes. At £10.4m and 47.4% selected, he is expensive and highly owned, but the profile is elite. You are not just buying assists, you are buying a complete FPL asset with 8 goals, strong bonus appeal and week to week reliability.

2. Bowen is next, and his classification as a forward makes him especially interesting. He delivered 12 assists, plus 8 goals, for 171 points at just £7.8m. The standout number is 3136 minutes, the highest among these top names, which speaks to role security and durability. With 25 bonus and a current form of 7.0, Bowen looks like one of the safest routes into sustained attacking output.

3. Cherki might be the most explosive value pick in the whole list. The Manchester City midfielder matched Bowen on 12 assists, but did it in only 1636 minutes. At £6.6m, 128 points and form 7.0, the upside is obvious. The concern is minutes, because City rotation can cap reliability, but if his role continues to grow, this could be one of the best mid-price picks in the game. His 18.9% ownership suggests managers are already paying attention.

Strong contenders

4. Declan Rice is less explosive than the names above, but the numbers are still excellent. He produced 9 assists, 176 points and 16 clean sheets from midfield in 2913 minutes. At £7.2m, he offers a stable floor, although a form of 3.2 hints that recent upside has cooled.

5. João Pedro is a different type of creator. The Chelsea forward has 9 assists, but his case is strengthened by 15 goals, 174 points and 30 bonus. At £7.5m with 39.0% ownership, he looks more like a complete forward than a pure assist specialist. The current 2.5 form does lower short-term appeal.

6. Bukayo Saka remains dangerous despite missing minutes. He also has 9 assists, alongside 7 goals, in only 2049 minutes. That level of output for 145 points at £9.9m shows his ceiling, but compared with Bruno at a similar premium price, the value argument is harder right now.

7. Harry Wilson deserves more attention. The Fulham midfielder returned 10 goals and 8 assists for 161 points at just £5.9m. That is outstanding value. His 2.2 form is a concern, but over the full sample he has delivered enough to stay firmly in the conversation.

Watch list

  • Matheus N., £5.3m, 8 assists, a defender with 11 clean sheets and 146 points is serious value if starts hold.
  • Aaronson, £5.4m, 8 assists and 122 points, cheap and low-owned at 1.1%, but not a proven captaincy-level asset.
  • O. Dango, £5.7m, 5 goals and 8 assists, useful all-round output without quite breaking into must-have territory.
  • Doku, £6.4m, 8 assists in only 1564 minutes and 7.8 form, explosive but rotation remains the issue.
  • Minteh, £5.5m, 8 assists, decent value and low ownership, but the 104-point total shows a lower overall ceiling.

Verdict

Overall winner: Bruno Fernandes. 21 assists, 209 points and elite bonus numbers make him the best assist provider and the best FPL pick in this category.

Best-value pick: Cherki. 12 assists for £6.6m in just 1636 minutes is elite efficiency, and there is room for more if the minutes rise.

Sleeper pick: Matheus N. A £5.3m defender with 8 assists, 11 clean sheets and 146 points gives you multiple routes to returns and can outscore more fashionable budget options.
