What matters this week
- Fixture and opponent: three of the top ten picks (Kostoulas, Georginio, David) all come from Brighton’s trip to Sunderland, and two more (Horníček, Fernandez-Pardo) are Newcastle assets away at Coventry. Clustering like this signals a fixture the model rates as soft, not just individual quality.

A player with modest form but a favourable matchup, like David at 0.2 form but xP of 4.42, is a bet that the matchup will lift output, while a player like Strand Larsen with form of 2.4 already has some of that priced in through his own current run. If two names cost the same, take the higher xP; if xP is close, take the cheaper one to free budget elsewhere.
