A few names carry strong expected points against manageable fixtures while ownership sits low enough to actually move your rank if they hit. Šeško’s 1.7% selected is the standout gap, an xP of 5.41 with almost nobody holding him. Thiago’s 10.3% ownership against 5.85 xP is another mismatch worth noting, even though his recent form sits at just 1.2.
How to weigh it
xP tells you the ceiling, ownership tells you the reward if it lands, and form tells you how much to trust the model over the eye test. A high xP with low form, like Thiago’s 5.85 xP against 1.2 form, is a bigger swing than a high xP with strong recent returns, like B.Fernandes at 6.8 form. The lower the ownership, the more rank you gain relative to your rivals if the pick delivers, but you are also betting against the crowd’s read on minutes and role. Balance one high-conviction, low-owned striker with one proven-form differential rather than stacking five coin flips.

xP of 5.41 at home to Crystal Palace, with 2.5 form. Budget-friendly enabler for the rest of your XI.

Captaincy angle
